We are looking for three experienced surface finishers for Muskövarvet – individuals with education in industrial painting or surface treatment, and preferably qualifications in hardening plastics and two-component paints.
As a surface finisher at Muskövarvet, you will work on everything from sandblasting and grinding of large ship hulls to painting smaller components using brushes, rollers, or high-pressure sprayers. This is a skilled craft where precision, responsibility, and technical knowledge are key to success.
Note: Muskövarvet is a security-controlled workplace. This means you must be a Swedish citizen, have a clean criminal record, and pass a security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
Responsibilities- Sanding and blasting of both small and large surfaces
- Painting with brushes, rollers, and high-pressure sprayers
- Application of 2-component paints and rust protection treatments
- Quality assurance and documentation of completed work
Location: Muskö, Haninge Municipality

About YouYou are an independent and skilled surface finisher/industrial painter, experienced in both heavy-duty work and detailed tasks. You are accustomed to following instructions, working according to routines, and documenting your work. You thrive with responsibility and take pride in delivering high quality, whether it involves an entire ship hull or a single component.
You are also a team player ready to pitch in where needed, and you understand the importance of safety, precision, and professional pride.
Qualifications- Education in surface treatment or industrial painting
- Experience with hardening plastics, 2K paint, and rust protection
- Proficiency in sanding, blasting, and painting with brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Education in hardening plastics and diisocyanates (according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements)
- Experience from marine environments

About the ClientMuskövarvet AB is a sought-after and recognized maintenance and repair shipyard established in 2005 and, since 2018, part of the defense group Saab. The operations are mainly conducted at the Naval Base in Muskö, approximately 60 km south of Stockholm.
The shipyard works with holistic solutions for both military and civilian vessels – from design, service, and technical support to repairs, conversions, and maintenance, for ships up to approximately 50 tons. Customers include civilian shipowners and virtually all public shipowners, with the Swedish Armed Forces being the largest client.
